The dramatic jet-black and burnished gold décor of the romantic Beaufort Bar exudes the glamour of a time when stars graced the renowned cabaret stage at The Savoy. Today, from a bar that stands on this very same stage, the expert team offer classic and new cocktails made with an element of drama, and one of the most extensive choices of Champagne by the glass and by the bottle.
Beaufort Bar menu
Entitled Interpreted Magic, the Beaufort Bar’s menu takes guests through the history and performance of magic through the ages. Led by the bar’s passionate Head Mixologist, Elon Soddu, the creation of the new menu has been very much a collaborative effort, with every member of the dynamic Beaufort Bar team inventing their very own cocktail.
Following on from the distinctive structure of the bar’s previous menu, Interpreted Magic is separated into three sections, inspired by the ‘three pillars’ of magic, each of which is a vital stage in a traditional magic performance: The Pledge, featuring light mixed drinks, wines and Champagnes; The Turn, featuring imaginative drinks that combine unusual techniques and clandestine flavours with agave spirits, gin, tonics and fortified wines; and finally The Prestige, focusing on rare whiskies and mixed drinks that are a satiating blend of dark spirits, full aromas and rich flavours.
Beaufort Bar guests can enjoy live music, played in the Thames Foyer, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
