People from around the world have been invited to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort over a weekend of special events from the 6th to the 8th of May.
As Britain’s first luxury hotel, The Savoy has marked some of the most important events in our nation’s history over the past century, including three coronations. In fact, King Charles has been a guest at The Savoy on many occasions; in 1984 he attended the Gucci Gala dinner, which was held after a Charity event at the Royal Opera House with Luciano Pavarotti, and on 2nd November 2010 His Majesty re-opened The Savoy after a long-anticipated refurbishment.
To mark this very significant national moment in history, we have partnered with world-renowned English Sparkling Wine producer, Nyetimber, celebrating the best of British. Together, Nyetimber and The Savoy’s teams have transformed the inside of The Savoy into the beautiful English garden. From the beautifully crafted Nyetimber crown on our Savoy sign, to the abundance of purple flowers leading to Thames Foyer and our crowning glory in Upper Thames, there are many intricate decorations to be explored…
