Savoy masterclasses see guests rolling up their sleeves with chefs to create the finest fare or getting behind the bar to mix the perfect drink. If not in the kitchen or bars, guests can spend time immersed in the hotel’s storied history or learning the art of packing a suitcase.

Historical tour with glass of champagne

Our historical tours with Susan Scott, The Savoy’s archivist, are a must for any guest interested in the hotel’s rich history and heritage. The 75-minute tour starts at 4.00pm, followed by Q&A in the Savoy Museum with a glass of Champagne.

Cocktail masterclass with dining experience

Hosted by a senior Savoy bartender, this masterclass will delight guests who enjoy classic or innovative cocktails, with lessons on how to make four drinks. The event includes a three-course set menu in Kaspar’s at The Savoy.

Vintage cocktails masterclass with dining experience

Hosted by an American Bar bartender, this exclusive masterclass takes guests on a journey through the history of cocktails and spirits. The event includes two vintage cocktails and a three-course dinner at Kaspar’s at The Savoy.

Carving masterclass with lunch and gift

Learn the art of carving from the Simpson’s in the Strand master carvers. The event takes place in the Regency Room and includes a three-course meal to which the new carvers can show off their skills to guests. Graduates take home a knife set and Simpson’s apron.

Beef Wellington masterclass with lunch

Hosted by Savoy Grill’s Executive Head Chef Ben Waugh and his team, this three-hour cookery masterclass teaches guests how to craft Gordon Ramsay’s signature dish – Beef Wellington.
