One hundred years after Guccio Gucci, who worked at The Savoy as a luggage porter when a young man, founded his leather goods company, The Savoy and Gucci are pleased to celebrate their shared history in a host of creative ways, starting with the transformation of The Savoy’s Royal Suite into a reflection of the Gucci world. The interior of the Royal Suite has been redesigned and features furniture, furnishings and decorative items from the Gucci Décor Collection, as well as art and antiquities specially curated by auctioneers Christie’s.
